Originally from Otago, Aaron's early career started at Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries. He later moved to Christchurch and embarked on a short stint in Real Estate.

Aaron moved to Kaikoura to take up a role as a Trainee Livestock Agent in 1995, and this is where he found his calling as a Livestock agent. Aaron previously worked for Reid Farmers Ltd and PGG until he accepted a role with Rural livestock in 2007.

Outside of work, Aaron enjoys anything to do with the outdoors. Scuba diving, hunting, fishing, and golf to name a few. Aaron's three boys are avid rugby players, and his daughter a keen netballer. Like most proud dads you will find Aaron on the side-line supporting his children.

Personally, and professionally, Aaron is very driven, self-motivated, and inspired by achieving at the highest level.
