Like most agents Donald comes from a farming background. Donald started in the industry after leaving high school, his first job was in the mail room with PGG in Blenheim.
Answering phones and doing the banking were routine tasks until he had a brief stint in the stock office in Christchurch. He was then posted in Mid-Canterbury servicing the Hinds area.
After doing an overseas exchange Donald returned to service the Rangiora-Oxford area for another five years. In 2000, Donald transferred to Little River servicing the Banks Peninsula. With the merger of PGG and Wrightson to form Pyne Gould Guinness Wrightson (PGGW) Donald took up the opportunity to become a shareholder in Rural Livestock.
Donald still lives in Little River servicing the wider Canterbury area.
Donald and his wife Jane have two children Sophia and Harry. Any spare time seems to be taken up following the kids sports and being an uber driver for their activities. As a family they enjoy water sports in the summer and snow skiing in winter. Donald also enjoys fishing and hunting.
In this industry Donald has been very lucky to travel around our amazing country, meet and form good relationships with good honest hard-working people.
