Thomas grew up in Tai Tapu where he attended St Andrews College before completing an Agribusiness and Food Marketing Degree at Lincoln University.

After returning from a 6-month stint playing Hockey in England, Thomas worked for Bidr selling livestock online. In March 2021, he moved across and put on the green shirt for Rural Livestock.

Away from work Thomas is a keen hockey goalie having represented Canterbury and New Zealand in age group teams, playing in India and England.

Thomas is living and working in North Canterbury so you will see him out in Waikari and Hawarden introducing himself to new and existing Rural Livestock clients.
