Originally from Southland, Jamie has always had a passion for livestock. Jamie worked for a local agriculture contractor for 15 years but knew that it was time for a change.

As luck would have it, a livestock manager approached him, they started talking about the job and what Jamie wanted to achieve which all lead to him taking up the role of livestock agent in Southland.

"I have never looked back!" Jamie has been an agent for six years now and deal with Sheep, Beef and Dairy.

Jamie and his wife are very busy with their two children's various sports and schooling activities. Jamie has been involved with the Ohai Nightcaps Rugby club for the past 20 years doing various roles and volunteers for the Nightcaps Fire Brigade, which he has been doing for the past 10 years.

To get his mind off work he enjoys getting out on the boat and doing some fishing, spending time with his family and watching rugby with friends.

"I find that satisfied customers keep me going, providing a great service and seeing my customers getting a great deal is all the motivation I need."
